Saudades de um proguizinho sem muitas pretensões, mas repleto de talento.
Some definite highlights, but didn't really work as an album for me. Routine and the title track are great but I'm not too impressed with the rest. (Edited)
This is a fantastic album. I wasn't to keen after hearing a couple of his records but after this I am starting to question if I have criminally under rated his work. The songs are just incredible and beautifully crafted. In unison, the tracks create a cohesive and smooth flowing masterpiece that never really dips in quality. Each song could stand by itself whilst also working in the concept of the album. The instruments are also really allowed to be shown off and you can admire the quality of output that is being done on this record. Then there are the lyrics which are so much fun to explore and it is very interesting to look into the context around the album. Overall, the album blends pop and prog rock to create a magnificent experience that is really rewarding to listen too and it makes me want to go back and look into his other work again.
