Combines two early 60s releases as a single disc package. "At Newport" captures Simone's Live performance at the Newport Jazz Festival in 1960, where she endeared herself to the audience and developed new fans. "Forbidden Fruit" was Simone's in studio follow up and continues to mix traditional, soul, blues, and jazz. Quite a double dip for the reclusive and talented original.
