One of those rarely discovered gems that is independently produced by a heretofore unknown collection of folks who have captured something indescribable, that will completely enrapture 99% of those fortunate to hear them. This Cincinnati quintet, led by David Ellison construct funky, groovy, jive-infested garage/party music with tongue firmly in cheek, and are musical savants to boot. They are balls-y enough to bite off The Godfather of Soul himself by covering "The Big Payback" and the Ohio Players version of "Fire", as well as sprinkling in original classics like "Mob's Revenge" and "Love And Tunafish". Listen to this album and I dare you to avoid getting caught up in their good time boogie.
