The group formerly known as "DeBarge" began referring to themselves as "The DeBarge Family" when they became affiliated with the Truth Ministries Records record label. In 1991 they released this album of gospel themed music which also features an appearance by their brother El DeBarge on the opening track, "We Need Your Love". The remaining tracks are along a similar vein and feature the family's soaring vocal dynamics reaching their previous heights with spiritually themed songs.
