A former member of the funk group Shalamar, Howard Hewett steps out of the group to perform as a solo artist on this 1994 release on Caliber Records. (Cat#: 69052-1008-2). It is not the first time Hewett has been on his own and he maintains his soul style that he established on earlier records. The final portion of the album sees Hewett beginning his foray into gospel music that would become prominent later in his career.
