UK band The Doves was a last ditch effort by the band formerly known as "The Thrashing Doves" to spark a successful career, which ultimately resulted in "Affinity" being their final release as a group in 1991 (Cat#: Elektra 9 61044-2). Attaching themselves to Prince associate David Z. to produce Affinity seemed another stab at garnering a hit. The music featured on this 9 song album was rhythmic and groove based, but failed to hit the mark. Authenticated on discogs.com
