Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Although this is only three tracks in duration this effort by one of the founders of the experimental group Can packs a punch. Track number one "Boat-Woman-Song" features the singing of two unidentified traditional Vietnamese singers and is 17 minutes in length. The second song, title track "Canaxis" exceeds track one - clocking in at 19:30 of more electronic experimentation. Track 3 maybe only 2 minutes long but was taken directly to the recording studio from a German radio performance.
Originally produced in 1969, the issue I have is from the Spoon Records Label re-issue of 1995. Catalog number Spoon CD 15 LC7395
Like Kraftwerk's (Organisation) Tone Float, Can proved they were great before they became Can.
