I was sceptical when I first went into this album as I wasn't sure if the group could capture the same magic they had on their record they released this year but I was very quickly proven wrong. As soon as the vocal kicked in on Polaris all my doubts went away as I got once again completely lost in a Parannoul album. Their music is just so captivating and has such a grand and important feel to it that makes you feel like you are truly part of something special. The peak of this for me is the phenomenal 46 minute closing track which finishes the record in style and demonstrates all the instrumental and musical prowess that makes this group one of the greatest of the modern era. Overall, this release, alongside After The Magic, are absolute masterpieces and as I listen to them more they just keep getting better which makes me believe I will soon be ranking these albums amongst the greatest of all time.
Makes me really wanna go see them live… come play the UK already ?
