“The Age of Pleasure” is a collapse into hedonism. The writing turns a sensual utopia into an inebriated haze. The lyrics rarely move beyond the initial statement of pleasure. The instrumentals are built on limp reggae. The horns are particularly flat, adding little despite their prominent role. The only real positive is that the album flows extremely well from song to song. It’s a bit sad that an album about pleasure fails to give any. (Edited)
Absolutely fantastic project, very fun album with a great flow. Vocals are tight, lyrics aren't too deep but it's not that type of vibe. Great for a party, poppy, funky with a great vibe. (Edited)
