One of the most consistent releases from King Gizzard with this album being a ball of pure energy throughout the entire experience. It is full of amazing riffs, interesting lyrics, strong vocal work and some powerful drumming. The best example of how good this album is comes right at the start of Dragon with it sounding so infectious as it demands your attention with its impressive instrumental work. As I said at the start they do a brilliant job of maintaining this on every track resulting in my first elite album of 2023 and making me want to go back and review the groups deeper discography.
Man, I loved this! King Gizzard are back at it again with an LP bursting full of heavy riffs, weird grooves and psychedelic lyrics. They seem to get the balance just right.
