It's June 14, 1994 and Vancouver band "Damn The Diva" released their self titled debut album.
Just south, in the Pacific Northwest states of Washington and Oregon, a musical explosion has been going on and a similar atmosphere finds it's way on to this album . Fusing riff-heavy guitars with the grit and anger, "Damn The Diva" goes from galloping pulsation to moody gently grooves to heavy kicking staccato riffs and back again. The production is crisp, song writing solid. There isn't a filler track to be found. Heavy grooves , contrasting song dynamics, and apathetic, angst filled lyrics dominate this release.
A rock solid collection of 10 electrifying songs.
