"When this album first came out, I really loved it, I thought it was such a progression for the band but as time has passed and my music taste has matured, I realised just what absolutely bland lifeless mainstream this is. Whether it's Turner's god awful lyrics about a girl calling him at 3am,or H..." Reply

"Well it's certainly a success, but only marketing wise. It seems Columbia records put a lot of effort and money promoting and hyping this to heavens but it worked, seeing all the rave reviews the album is getting. "I don't think anyone was expecting another My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, an album which is as good as any hip-hop release since 2000 or so, but I gotta be honest, what the hell are the critics listening to? If this was any other artist besides Kanye, they would've destroyed this album's lyri..." Reply

"I remember seeing Win Butler on Colbert saying that he'd like to make people dance with a little tear coming down their face. That pretty much sums up this album, I've never had such a strong urge to dance and cry at the same time as I do listening to this album." Reply

"Finally, The National have made the album I always knew they were capable of making. Their past two albums have all been very good, but nothing too amazing, but there was a lot of potential that I could hear there. But now, with “Trouble Will Find Me", they’ve finally realized that potential and ..." Reply

""Pink Metal" with its mix of shoegaze and black metal has been around for a while, it just so happens this band got the right publicity to pioneer it. I mean, as far as this genre goes "Try Not to Destroy Everything You Love" by An Autumn for Crippled Children had a very similar yet superior soun..." Reply

"This isn’t the best album I’ve heard Nick Cave make but it certainly is a good one, filled with comments on modern culture, including the prediction of Miley Cyrus’ death in a pool or something like that. Whether it’s the sweet sounds of “We Real Cool" or the clever, introspective lyrics of “Higg..." Reply
