Found this album thanks to Johnny Jewel's influence on the soundtrack for the film Drive and boy have I been digging it!
Sure its length is definitely going to turn a few people off from this fantastic piece of synth pop, but those who stay for the ride will be quite pleased with this treat from the Chromatics.
Best Tracks: Kill For Love, Into The Black, and my personal fave These Streets Will Never Look The Same.
There was a lot of empty space in the middle of it that threw me off. It's a bit long.

I fell in love with this after a while, but man... talk about one heck of an album. Yeah, it's a behemoth, and maybe not justified at times, but boy are the highs here incredible. Maybe it's a bit shameful that my favorite song here is their Neil Young cover, but they make it their own in the best way possible. Anyhow, this is incredible. It ought to get more notice.

A hazy universe of ambience scattered with glistening synthpop stars.
