The new Bruce Springsteen from UK has abandoned the punk roots and has embraced a new shiny pop formula. (Edited)

I've never really understood the fascination with Sam Fender other than he is under 30 and uses a guitar...and only one of those 'qualities' is still true.
He clearly resonates with many, as the moving comment below shows.
It's just a bit clean and North Shields Springsteen tribute act to me, as the lines between music as an art form and pop become ever more blurry.
