Fender's blend of engaging politics and homeland rock is tonic to the horrendous experience we had in the 2010s unending lineage of vapid male guitar strummers. One of the soundest people in music today, a keen eye for great riffs and a fucking fantastic voice. The man exudes love and honesty, most of all for Newcastle and the North East of England, which he renders with unrivalled beauty and passion.
