Contrary to popular opinion, I don't hate this album and I did enjoy listening to it. It has some good moments in Pop, American Girls, Ready Steady Go, Aperture and my favourite might be Season 2 Weight Loss, that beat is infectious. The rest of the album falls a bit flat for me, if you're doing a ballad make sure its so so good, because otherwise we don't really care, we've heard those so many times before and I feel like what happened here is that a lot of these are uninteresting. He is playing it very safe with the songwriting, even though I enjoyed the sound, I wished he pushed that a bit more too. Not his best album and not as bad as people frame it to be. It's an okay album, wish to see him get out of his comfort zone more often in the future. (Edited)
