Good to listen to 3-4 times, and that's it.
I love this album. Great debut.
I agree with the main comments. I would never think an ex-1D member would release an album like this. It's a pop album but with different genre influences and a sound which, may not be original or extraorinary, but is nice to listen.
Top tracks in my opinion: Sign of the times, Two ghosts, Ever since New York.

I can't with Harry Styles releasing a better album than Ed Sheeran.

Never in my life did I think I would listen to anything from Harry Styles let alone take the time to write a review. As much as it pains me to say this... this album is actually pretty good. Sure some of the songs sound similar but as a whole it's something I enjoyed listening to and will listen to again. I don't know if it's bc my expectations were set so low or hell is freezing over but this is a solid album.
A very pleasant suprise (well I'm not really suprised after he released Sign of the Times). Very consistent album from start to finsih and a nice indicator of what is to come from Mr. Styles.
Best Tracks: Sign of the Times, Sweet Creature, Only Angel, Kiwi, Ever Since New York
As others have been pointing out, this is a project which definitely demonstrates Styles' potential for a great record. "Sign of the Times" is bound to be one of the year's best singles, along with a handful of other great tracks like "Sweet Creature" and "Two Ghosts". Though the project slumps a bit in the final third of the tracklist, there's a clear effort by Styles to produce excellent music, and we can expect more in the future, no doubt.
