What happened? Did her move to Los Angeles change things that much? She’s got these self-doubts, fewer slacker guitars, but almost Krautrock instead. I really like this new approach, and it’s still CB. Repetitions and almost hypnotic phrases do her songs good and take them to the next level. Maybe she’s just found herself again and doesn’t need to churn out another indie hit album
