Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a mean average rating of 71.0/100. The trimmed mean (excluding outliers) is 71.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 16.4.

It stands up surprisingly well. It's a decent album. Competent soul rock. Mark Knopfler's title track is a highlight, as is, What's love got to do with it, and a soulful version of the Beatles, Help!. Good pop album.

Great album start to finish. I remember my mom buying me this on cassette when I was a kid and nearly 30 years later it still holds up. True that it might've not been the deepest album, but Tina wanted to prove her worth and she did in spades. Pure energy and every song is a singalong

One of those unforgettable records from the mid 80's. Great tracks include What's Love and Better Be Good to Me. Turner's career restarted with a vengeance thanks to this one and it was fun watching that.
