JEFF The Brotherhood is another band that has signed on to Jack White’s ever-growing record label Third Man Records. So far, the bands that have signed to Third Man have all pumped out pretty good albums and this one is no different. All around, this album is pretty good. It has its slow spots, but it’s good overall. The album also includes a cover of the Black Sabbath song “Changes". JEFF The Brotherhood’s sound is very interesting, very distorted kind of garage-rock-like with a lead singer who’s voice is about as rough and gritty as it gets. But they also have the ability to slow it down a little and produce some great music. These guys have been around for awhile (since 2002) but they haven’t gained a whole bunch of popularity yet it seems. Check these guys out, it’s worth it.
