Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This record is great. As an ambient record, it excels in being easily ignored. The concept behind the naming convention - doing so based off the time stamps, to avoid the listener's perception affecting their enjoyment of the track - is genius, and helps to achieve a goal of disattachment which makes this album great background noise. As a plus, like many Cluster & Eno collaborations, it can be interesting to listen to intently.
Ambient chillout synth electronic music. Or whatever you call it. If you want to know how rocking this is, they use the ticking of a grandfather clock as the beat on one track.
This is equal to Aphex Twin's early work. Fantastic!
This album gets talked up alot, but the praise is definitely justifiable in this instance. Fantastic!
Refined and elegant ambient house.
