Very pretty and ethereal-sounding ambient dreampop duo from Los Angeles. This album is a little closer (okay, maybe a lot closer) to Dead Can Dance than the Cocteau Twins, but hey, I like both and you should too. On later albums they moved more towards electronics, acoustic guitars and tripgaze, but here the spacey reverb-heavy guitars are still the primary instrument. That doesn't mean the album is "full of bangers," though. It's pleasantly dreamy, and does a fine job of remaining pleasantly dreamy just about the whole time. And who doesn't want pleasant dreams? I know I do.
