His first of seven top ten albums and contains four top three smash hits "Whenever you need somebody", "When I fall in love", "Together forever" and "Never gonna give you up".

Personally, I think it has strong tracks other than his signature song. The three opening songs are all pretty similar in terms of both quality and style (and that bombastic string intro sounds almost copy-pasted in those three songs, it's quite funny). Noteworthy especially is the crazy syncopation in the title-track's verses and the madly cheesy version of "When I Fall in Love" as album closer. Only a decade like the 1980s could something like this!
Obviously only known for "Never Gonna Give You Up", I imagine this album has other songs, good or bad I don't know.

What really amazes me is that the expression "to be Rick rolled" was already invented 4 years ago!

This is hilarious, if you set "Ratings >= 5", "Never gonna give you up" is rated #127 ahead of songs by the Beatles, Stones, Arcade Fire, Nirvana, VU, Neutral Milk Hotel, Slint, Led Zeppelin< Radiohead, Pink Floyd, etc..well you get the picture...I don't hate this song but I didn't know that our members were so into adult contemporary.

It's better now that' it's only 710... hopefully 4chan stays off of this chart.
