Je crois qu'"À Paradis City" est mon album préféré de Jean Leloup. Pas parce qu'il contient ses meilleures chansons, sinon j'irais avec "Le dôme" et tous ses hits.
Non, je préfère "Paradis City" parce que c'est un album concis, clair et conséquent. J'aime le feel global de l'album, je trouve qu'il a réussi à créer une ambiance conséquente tout au long de celui-ci et ça me plait. Il avait réussi cela dans "L'amour est sans pitié", mais pas depuis. Je trouve que "Le dôme" souffre d'un manque de cohésion et que "La vallée des réputations" a beaucoup de longueurs et quelques "fillers" (bien que j'aime ces deux albums quand même). Avec Paradis City, je sens que Leloup a simplifié son approche, peaufiné ses chansons de façon plus subtile et réussi à créer un univers fort intéressant. Le résultat et très réussi selon moi.
