Fourth times a charm for Foals with their excellent breakthrough release ‘What Went Down’. Foals have forged one of the better discographies in recent times yet this album remains their best work which says plenty for the quality on offer here
Another top quality album from this awesome band. It continues on with the heavier sound of their previous release, Holy Fire, but still has some quieter more mellow tracks like its predecessors. My highlights are Snake Oil, Birch Tree and Night Swimmers. London Thunder, Give It All and Albatross are quite forgettable and drag the grade down but the rest of the tracks are excellent.
Definitely my least favorite Foals album. A lot of the songs on here are just completely forgettable which isn't the norm for them. Hopefully their next effort is not further along this path.
This is one of those albums, I really don't know much about despite listening to it. All I recall is that it is quite good. I think I better go and give this another listen.

This is a really great album. The title track is the best starting to any album this year imo. Such a heavy start, but there are some real nice mellow tracks on here as well - a perfect balance. Foals keeps impressing

Never fully listened to a Foals album, but greatly surprised off this record..its a fun listen..i got to love it..its just exactly my type of music.
Totally immersed in this album at the moment. Beautiful!

In some unexpected ways, Foals unleash the unbridled intensity that has been boiling beneath the surface of their entire career. Fantastic album and their best (so far).
