Expectations for this album were high, and Wild Beasts delivered. The songs are well structured synthpop pieces. Clever songwriting and melodies, this album is easily as smart and tight as pop music can get.

Great album, from all those 'almost adult singers with guitars' this one is the best by fa

I always had thing with blues and with gospel music, but it seemed like those genres were retired. Until I heared this album, a great mix of blues music and gospel. The backstory of this album is just amazing: An 81 year old man one day calls a record label with the question if he could record an album for them. This masterpeice of blues and gospel is that frist album from that old man.
