I listened to more small/independent artists in 2018 than any previous year, and want to get some more exposure for them. (Including my release!)
I also give albums that I enjoy many listens, so I don't get to explore as many new albums as some.

"The first time I tasted somebody else's spit/I had a coughing fit" is easily the worst lyric on the album, and a terrible start. I almost stopped the album to move on; I'm glad I didn't, because the rest of the opening song is terrific.
This album has some very high highs for me, but a couple songs have gotten a bit stale with repeated listens. Overall the album is great. [First added to this chart: 03/09/2019]

The songs are crisp, the guitars are excellent, and the backup vocalist on New Year's Eve is wonderful.
