YES, It's a compilation but a really good one. Tracks like 'All of My Heart', 'When Smokey Sings' and 'The Look of Love' were pivotal tracks in the eighties new wave of avante garde electro pop. The musicianship and innovation many of the eighties bands demonstrated was overshadowed by the age of the music video and a core of artists that hugged the top ten positons in the charts. It is only now, some thirty plus years that these bands can be fully appreciated for their sheer musicianship and innovation.

My introduction to Brian Kennedy was seeing him support Clannad at the Cornwall Coliseum and I was blown away by his vocal style, immediately going out to hunt down the tape, the latest hip thing at the time! I still have that tape but if I were able to track this album down on vinyl I would be very happy.

As with Strange Cargo, this is also an excellent ambient album from the synth and sampling genius.
I bought this on cassette (tape!) when it came out in 1990. Played it over and over in the car (and now my car doesn't even have a CD player fitted, let alone tape player!). Anyway, having just got this album on vinyl, I am reminded what a great album it is. Parts of it remind me of some of Rory Gallagher's work.
Gary Moore was a very underrated vocalist, being more known for his amazing guitar work, notably with Colosseum 2. Still Got The Blues is a personal favourite for the vocals and lead guitar soloing. [First added to this chart: 09/17/2020]

Excellent gothic dark rock album. Best tracks are Vision Thing, You Don't See Me and More. The video of More is worth a watch, great inspiration to a workout on a treadmill!

Heavy as lead metal album, full on from start to finish. Love the sleeve art more than the music but I do enjoy it if I’m the right mood. Feels like it’s trying too hard at times.
