Thy understood something in the magical 1982, understood it mich better than most and felt guilty. Their self destruction was not a lame predictable post punk gesture. When they wanted to take part again they became thin classicists.I'll be grateful for the Lexicon of Love maybe forever. It was like punk to me while the "real punk" had died.
A good pop band but like so many of the 80's groups failed to move on and evolve

Great new wave/pop band. Very danceable, very upbeat, and very addictive. There's no messages about world poverty, no political statements, no studio wizardry...just good, solid pop music for pop music's sake. It is what it is. It's a perfectly crafted pop band.
