Favorite Album Covers
by MadhattanJack

There's no one reason why I like these album covers — in some cases it's purely aesthetic, in some cases there's sentimentality involved, and others just strike me as amusing. Also, nudity.

The thing people often forget is, the term "sheeple" can actually refer to both sheep *and* people. That's why you have to put this at #1. [First added to this chart: 07/01/2026]

Most people assume this is just a guy showing up at Late Registration for a furry convention, but statistically it's much more likely that it's a regular sales conference for non-furries, and the guy was in such a hurry to get there before Late Registration closed that he forgot to change out of his bear suit. Back in the old days, if the invitation said "wear your creepy-looking oversized mask to the party," you wore your creepy-looking oversized mask because if you didn't, they made you wear the "fool outfit," just like they're doing with the lead singer of Dead Or Alive in this photo. It's a photo of a guy holding an animal skull in front of his face, so why pick this one over the thousands of other albums whose covers show guys holding animal skulls in front of their faces? It's the lighting, of course. Also, the title is ironic because the band continued making records afterwards, and (apparently) nobody died. [First added to this chart: 07/01/2026]

This one is funny because everyone knows you need two clothes-pins, one for each foot. Otherwise the baby just knocks the clothes-pin off with the free foot and plummets to the ground. Hilarious! [First added to this chart: 07/01/2026]

This one belongs on this list because it emphasizes an important point of etiquette — if you have to catch the night train and don't have time to burn the vampire yourself, try to leave a handy container of gasoline next to the coffin so that the next guy who comes along won't have to make an extra trip. This is why forcing women to wear burqas is both immoral and self-defeating. If this woman could have just seen what she was doing, she could have picked out a much nicer photo to hold up for passers-by outside the Detention and Interrogation Center. [First added to this chart: 07/01/2026]
