Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 90.1/100, a mean average of 88.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 15.3.

the intro is inspired by the song school by Supertramp from the great album Crime of the century
The perfect way to close the album.
This was it; Muse's shining moment. Pretty much perfect and about as fun as a song can get. One of if not the best album closer of the 21st century. It's like a last hurrah, whilst The Resistance was still good it all went downhill after this song.
Great song, hasn't aged perfectly for me but still good.
Quite possibly my favourite song of the 21st century. I honestly feel like their entire career was building up to this song.

Easily one of the greatest songs in recorded music , I recon I've heard it a 1000 times and its still bloody awesome . Oh and make sure you watch the video clip on YouTube its hilarious

Literally one of the most perfect songs ever written. It's musicality, how it builds, the melodies, the harmonies, just fucking huge.

Space cowboys
The second song I listened from Muse and at first didn't like, I found it theatrical, excessive. Now I find it an epic track and a good way to finish the album. @Space-Dementia your dreams came true (x2 for Plug in Baby) ;)

I don't understand how Muse don't even have one song rated 90. Most bands have at least one, but Muse, 29th best band of all time don't even have one. And if there's gonna be one song that is rated 90, it should be Knights of Cydonia. This song is as close to perfection that Muse ever got. It's simply incredible.
