Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.3/100, a mean average of 86.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 87.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 14.9.

Sets the tone for the album very well.
The perfect opening track to an incredible, but somewhat inconsistent album. Kanye does a great job of introducing himself, the different groups of people that listen to him, and the concept of the album.

First Kanye solo track and the world was rocked by his hip-hop/pop crossover prowess and addictive elaborate maximalistic production style. Feel good, upbeat, shamelessly catchy, this is classic old school Kanye at it's best.
I always try to imagine the reaction of the senior engineers in my firm to this. Were they to hypothetically listen to this track, I imagine even they would head bang to this.

Favorite Track on the album
With his debut track, Kanye makes it clear what he's about. A very strong opener that started the career of one of the great rap artists of all time.
