Not just Kanye's best song, but one of the greatest songs ever recorded
this song changed music forever
The last 3 minutes are just pure ecstasy.
Possibly one of the best rap songs of all time. The autotune finale and the piano make this one of the most memorable pieces of music of the 21st century.
I want to love that Pusha T verse so much!!! but it just wouldnt happen. The song is still way wayyy too good to be anything less than a perfect 100.
The autotuned incoherent part is a career high!
One of the best songs of all time. From the first time I heard it I knew this was something else, and usually, it takes time for me to appreciate a song. Just perfect.
I really want to give this a 100, but Pusha T's verse is too bad to be ignored. It's almost as if he didn't even listen to the rest of the song: it's completely irrelevant and unnecessarily crude and sexual. I've heard some argue that it's in there for comic relief, but I think that the second verse serves much better as comic relief for the track, as it's crude and sexual while still playing into the theme of the song: Kanye admitting his weaknesses. Pusha T's just doesn't contribute anything whatsoever. Apart from that one bit, this is a perfect track.
I don't think this is his greatest song ever but I love the melody and it's raw emotional Kanye, can't get much better than that. That said it seems to be lacking in musical complexity for me to label it his all time greatest track. I wasn't blown away with the vocoder part, I thought it was unnecessary on an already bloated album w/ other tracks that seem to do the same.
A song really cannot get better than this.
Epic. Hate some of the lyrics for sure. But I totally get the people who think this is one of the greatest songs ever.
