This song is simply amazing. A departure from everything Beach House has done before and a superb opening for an album. My favorite one from 7 and maybe one of their best songs overall! Sadly it gave me such high expectations for the rest of the record that they weren't fulfilled.
So far my favorite on the album, strangely beautiful
True-to-form (like Levitation and Myth before it), this track immerses you into the world of 7 and completely bathes you in the dark eerie aesthetic of the record. It's Beach House's heaviest track to date and one of the finest songs on the album.
Just turn that volume up and get lost in the wall of sound.
