For me the album takes a slight dip after New Slang but what a resoundingly beautiful end to the album with this song. Dealing with goodbyes' to loved ones in its many guises makes it such an appropriate ending. The french horn emphasises the melancholic tone in the mid section and as the song gently drifts away towards the end.
