Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 86.6/100, a mean average of 86.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 87.3/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.9.

A humorous proggy piece. It's not the best Genesis piece I ever heard, but it surely is an enjoyable listen.
Humorous and rocking. It opens with one of the great guitar riffs in the Genesis discography before developing into a bit of a swing for the verses, which are the best part of the song. Gabriel's screaming vocals during are fitting and fantastic. The bridging parts aren't as enjoyable to listen to, but they do their job and move the song along just fine. It all comes to a climax with Hackett rocking the guitar and Banks doing some fancy work with the ivory before Gabriel belts out his deep-voice impression of the hogweed. The instrumental outro could have been a little more refined melodically, but it hits hard enough to do the job. Easily the best song you'll hear about an invasive plant species.

This song is so good but at the same time very whimsical. True art!

What a great, silly song. I'm always amused by the fact that Genesis can make songs that are so good, and still have a completely stupid story in lyrics.

This is a strong Peter Gabriel vocal that really takes a hold of this track and lifts it.
