Every Weezer album is good for at least one stellar song/single, no matter how inconsistent or poor the record might be. High as a Kite is that triumphant gem.
Definitely the best song from the album so far. I love how airy and floaty the instrumental is; it fits with the lyrics so well. Rivers' vocals sound very relaxed and chilled out, with adds to the serene feel of the track. I also really like the guitar riffs in the bridge; it really has a Blue album feel to it. I do have one issue, I think that the guitars during the chorus are just a bit too loud, it kinda drowns out the rest of the instruments. But besides that, this is a great song. 98/100
