Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 90.7/100, a mean average of 90.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 91.5/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.8.

This track is when I knew this album would be gold. She is trying something relatively new here for her and it works so well. Her voice and the subtle instrumentals meld perfectly into a very rich experience. Amazing.

The folk intro draws you in with a verse resembling "Time After Time" (without copying) and an elegant and heartfelt chorus. The ending is quite inventive vaguely resembling something you might hear on "In Rainbows" or Big Thief, but is maybe a hair too long to stay consistently interesting. Still, overall the experiment is quite successful.

I adore this entire song but the part that makes me go absolutely hog wild is when she goes "Wha-wha-wha-wha-whatever everything, whatever." That part sounds so good to me lmao
