It's impressive that she can make "a cover of a cover" sound so original and unique...she genuinely improves on Sublime with haunting vocal delivery and great production. Still, this track sounds a bit too much straight from the 90s...like maybe this is what Portishead's cover of Sublime would've sounded like, no 2019 update. Also, the track arguably sounds different than the others on the album and maybe should have been left as a non-album single.
