Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Lighten up guys. It didn't need the intro but it's a sonically adventurous pretty fun song. It's a nice little departure from the rest of the sound on the record & a nice chord prog in otherwise a lot of I IV V

This song, with kind of a R&B, Janet Jackson (Jhene Aiko?) vibe feels very out-of-place with the sunshine pop, Fleetwood Mac type sound of the rest of the album.
