Quite a dark brooding melodic tone to this track. It is unlike anything the Beatles had done before but will set a template for much of Harrison's contributions in the future. (Edited)
George Harrison's first songwriting contribution to the Beatles, is a rather downbeat but thoroughly enjoyable number. It's certainly better than at least three Lennon-McCartney tunes on the With the Beatles album and works well coming after the first three tracks. Harrison wouldn't get another of his songs recorded with the band for almost two years, but on the back of this, it's hard to see why. (Edited)
This is my favorite Beatles song ever. I don't know why, it just is. I fucking love it.
For the Beatles, this is nothing to write home about.
