In my opinion this was their first all-time great song. Primarily a McCartney song in the form of a heartfelt love letter. It is driven by tight harmonies and a strident Lennon rhythm guitar. Nice little solo from Harrison. For many years this has been one of my all-time favourite Beatles songs

Paul McCartney's first masterpiece. An absolutely lovely song with a beautiful melody and in my opinion, would have been a better to single than, I want to hold your hand(although IWTHYH had a more American sound the band were looking for to try and break America), and along with, it won't be long, the best song on With the Beatles.
