Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 91.1/100, a mean average of 90.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 91.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.2.

I absolutely love 'Under the Bridge' by Red Hot Chili Peppers. The melancholy melody and heartfelt lyrics really speak to me, and I think it's one of their most beautiful and emotional songs. The way Anthony Kiedis sings about feeling disconnected and searching for a sense of belonging is so relatable and moving, and the soaring chorus always gives me goosebumps. It's definitely one of my all-time favorite songs, and I never get tired of listening to it.

No matter how many times I hear it, I still feel it, especially the lyrics "Under the Bridge downtown, forgot about my love, under the bridge downtown, I gave my life away." Wow.
An incredible song. John Frusciante produces some of the most incredible, Hendrix eske, chord progressions that I have ever heard. A constant shift between major and minor, remarkably simple, but with the most incredible embellishments. A perfectly constructed funky chorus, leading to that big surging ending, the yells of ‘under the bridge downtown’ perfectly encapsulating the sentimentality placed on the seemingly insignificant due to the burden of drug addiction. Flea and Chad are both fairly quiet on this song, Smith simply taps along, doing just the right amount, not trying to grab the spotlight with unnecessary rolls and taps, just allowing the other members to do their thing. Finally, we come to the work of Anthony Kiedis. Anyone who says he can’t sing can listen to this and then suck a dick frankly, his mellow humming through this song takes you on a journey of admittance, where through a combination of metaphor and literalism, he tells all of his constant doubts and loneliness, his own uncertainty only combatted by his use of drugs. There are many reasons why this song has over three hundred plays on my iTunes, and you just read a few of them then.

So beautiful. The last verses have to be one of the best parts in music, ever
