Red Hot Chili Peppers

More of an individual songs band, and they have done some cracking songs, than an albums band for me. They have never pulled off a good album IMO. The best are decent, i.e. Californication.

Really don't listen to them that much anymore.

One of those bands where their hit singles are way better than the actual albums themselves.

However…they were absolutely terrible in the 80’s and I CAN’T STAND the song Dani California and that song represents everything wrong with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and I can’t stand anything this band’s made since their Stadium Arcadium album…so they get a 60/100 rating for me.

I agree with fans and critics who consider the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 1991 album "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" to be their best work. The album features several of the band's biggest hits, including "Give It Away" and "Under the Bridge," and is widely regarded as a seminal album in the alternative rock genre.

imo one of the best bands of all times. 1999-2003 period is as close to perfect as it can get - its true they dropped music quality later on their career, but after contributing so many great songs and creating so many great moments with their live performances u can cut the profits at some point. its not really their fault that younger generations of musicians didnt really came after to fill the gap of rock scene.

This is one of my favorite bands of all time. I've been listening to them since I was a young boy. Easily the most influential artist to my ears.

I would also HIGHLY recommend listening to John Frusciante's solo work. It's life changing, once you know his story.

Kinda overrated, in my opinion. Maybe I just need to listen to more songs.
