Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 3% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 83.0/100, a mean average of 82.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 83.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 16.3.

Still relevant as a statement, good song, even better live.
On an album with a lot of pop moments, this stand out as a nice rockin' track. Genesis gets political with this one, attacking the state of politics in the world at the time. The lyrics may look a little bit cheesy today, but it was pretty deep for the '80s. Collins' cutting vocals, Banks' deep, distorted, charging keyboards, and Rutherford's heavy guitar riffs which weave in and out of the verses all blend together quite well to give the piece some staying power, both in the public eye and in your head. Certainly one of the better tracks on this album.

Tries to be a political statement, ends up being very, very boring.
For Genesis, this song is much better than what was expected. Heck, best Genesis song ever!
So good, Disturbed covered it. And so would I if I were in a band.
