Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 85.3/100, a mean average of 84.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 86.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 16.1.

The first Genesis track I ever heard, beautiful. Fell in love with the band back in '78 and we've never been divorced.
This is how a prog-pop song should be done. Infinitely catchy, endlessly charming. Highlighted by mellow synthesizers, fun percussion, ricocheting guitar, and sugary-sweet vocals. And, of course, that descending synth run that occurs twice throughout the song at the end of the chorus. Yes, the lyrics are simple and repetitive, but it's so well-executed and so fitting that it just works wonders. Genesis tried prog-pop in the past with A Trick of the Tail, Your Own Special Way, and other tunes from this album, but none of them are quite as well-done as Follow You Follow Me. You could make the argument that the legend of pop Genesis started here.
Catchy, well performed. Ordinary song, kinda sappy. Definitely foretelling future compositions.
