In response to my top 2, perhaps they are from polar opposites of the music spectrum but what they both allow the listener to do is escape off into a little fantasy land of their own making. Whilst Ys buries you in lyrical metaphor and imagery I consider to be unrivalled in Popular Music, listening to Loveless is akin to being washed up on a desert island by a torrent of beautiful noise. Like all great works of art they are divisive, but for me both are albums you can get well and truly lost in, as well as obsessive about. And that is why they top my chart and the likes of The Killers and Oasis are nowhere to be seen. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing Folk 'n Stuff SHAMELESS RECORD DEALER PLUG
