Amazing, obvs. Probably my least favorite of his three main albums, though.

Beautifully written, played, arranged and produced. Splendid debut. The lighter side of Drake, possibly. By all means listen to this if you haven't.

This. My order is the mainstream one, though : Pink Moon is my fav, and I prefer this one to Bryter Layter.

Yeah, this is what I feel to.
Five Leaves Left is a fantastic album. Sophisticated and mysterious. The Thoughts of Mary Jane made me cry legit tears first time I heard it. There's a lot of other spectacular tracks here. _________________

I might like this as much as Pink Moon were it not for some of the painfully cheesy backing arrangements. Still an outstanding album regardless

^Agreed. I still like both this album and Bryter Layter (this one moreso) but I think both would be much better if they had a more spare arrangement like Pink Moon (mainstream order for me). Perhaps they should both get "Naked" mixes like Let It Be.
Though I'm not entirely sure all these songs would work out without some backing arrangement. The songs of Pink Moon were mostly short and sound like they were built for solo acoustic arrangements.

Pink Moon > Bryter Layter > Five Leaves Left, but it's still one of the most amazing albums ever made.
