Marvelous. For some reason I think it's a bit too long. It's not even over 45 minutes, but really, records like that should last less than 35 minutes. Either their (absolutely wonderful) cover of Grapevine goes on for too long, or one or two tracks should have been removed (Ooby Dooby in particular is not very good compared to the rest).
I'm complaining, but this is a really fantastic piece of music, and CCR are among my favorite "dadrock" bands.

And dadrock is a filthy word. _________________ May we all get to heaven

I like that word, I think it shouldn't be viewed as pejorative. When I was with my dad and my uncle at some secondhand market, I saw this exact vinyl on a guy's store. I took it, and my dad was like "Wow, we don't have it at home? Amazing album." and my uncle was like "omg you don't have this u family of losers". It's literally dadrock.
There's something warm and comfortable about that term. Like the record take you in his arms and plays music just for you. I know you don't like genre labels or anything which separates a whole group of music from another, but I think that the term dadrock effectively works much better than a lot of other attempts at categorizing large parts of music eras. Maybe it's just me, though.

I've owned this record for a really long time, and I've never listened to it before for some odd reason. I'm really enjoying it so far! It's got some really great riffs, and, as drakonium said, it's very warm.

This is CCR's best record in my opinion. The guitars are a lot slicker and edgier than their previous, more laid back albums. Ramble Tamble works really well at opening the album and setting the mood and energy.

A must-listen for any serious music enthusiast. The energy is both enormous and flowing naturally. "Run Through the Jungle" followed by "Up Around the Bend", my favourite CCR song, is an absolute winner of a combo.
