I'm rarely ever in the mood for CCR, but I actually have a lot of admiration for this album. Very strong the whole way through. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.

For me, CCR's best album is between this and Willy and the Poor Boys. I'd probably give the edge to Cosmo's Factory because of Ramble Tamble. What an opener. The instrumental segment in the middle of that song is legendary. _________________ on such a winter's day

I had no idea it went for so long until I got the album. FM radio when I was a kid, used to always fade it out.

There was a single version without the guitar solo.
People forget the run that Creedence was on in 69 and 70. They released 5 albums in those two years (all top 10 with 2 #1's), had 11 top 40 singles (9 top tens and 5 #2's). They did this while The Beatles were still together. Cosmo's Factory was the peak for them, more solid than the other 4 from this short period. They were an amazing band while they were together. _________________ May we all get to heaven
